The Vice-Rectors of Medical University "Prof. Dr. Paraskev Stoyanov"-Varna were elected at a meeting of the Academic Council, held on 21 March 2016.
The Rector of MU-Varna Prof. Dr. Krasimir Ivanov proposed and the Academic Council approved the structure of the Rector's Council for the 2016-2020 term of office, which includes Vice-Rectors of Academic Affairs, Career Development, Research and Postgraduate Education, International Cooperation, Accreditation and Quality, and Innovation and Translational Medicine.
Unanimously, the Academic Council elected Prof. Dr. Albena Kerekovska for Vice-Rector of Academic Affairs, Prof. Dr. Rinaldo Shishkov for Vice-Rector of Career Development, Research and Postgraduate Education, Prof. Todorka Kostadinova for Vice-Rector of International Cooperation, Accreditation and Quality and Prof. Dr. Hristina Grupcheva for Vice-Rector of Innovation and Translational Medicine.
